NILUFAR HAITOVA

MARKHAMAT VILLAGE, TAJIKISTAN

Nilufar is 22 years old, one of the youngest spinners. She is a serious woman, married with one daughter. Her husband is a labourer. Nilufar likes to cook various dishes. Her favorite dish is "manty" (dumplings with meat and onions). As all the other women, she loves flowers, especially roses. She loves spinning and working at the workshop and is very grateful to everyone who helped organize this work. Thanks to this work, she was able to visit the capital city of Tajikistan, Dushanbe, and gained a new perspective on many issues. Yarn spinning improved her life financially and she made many new friends at the workshop. She is very happy she learned how to spin. She also enjoys driving a car and she hopes that one day she will have her own car. Her favorite brand is Toyota Prado. She also hopes to travel. Her greatest happiness is to see her loved ones happy and smiling.
